COMPANY PROFILE
Construction Management
Everett's construction management philosophy centers on an "open book" approach in which all members of the project team are kept fully informed over the entire life of a project.
In the pre-construction phase, we provide realistic cost estimates that permit accurate value-engineering decisions to be made up front - thereby avoiding painful cost-savings cuts later in the constructing process. We share all the numbers - the actual dollars-and-cents cost of construction materials and services with the project team, avoiding misunderstandings of what true project costs are. Everett's senior staff is always involved with the purchasing process, and the client has ample opportunity to review our evaluations of various options, and to contribute to the decision making.
General Contracting
When Everett
serves as general contractor, we provide clients with a single-point
responsibility for achieving their cost, quality and schedule goals.
On many projects, we prepare a "guaranteed maximum price" or "lump
sum" format, with the level of participation by clients determined
by their own needs and desires. Everett can establish an upset
price, backed, if necessary, by any type of bond.
Interior Construction
Everett
Construction Company provides full General Contracting and
Construction Management services for retail, corporate, legal and
institutional facilities. Everett Construction is comprised of a
talented staff experienced in providing innovative solutions to the
special and unique requirements of interior construction.
Design/Build
Today, many clients
seek true single-source responsibility. Everett has responded to the
increasing popularity of design/build by using our team building
philosophy to form an integrated partnering approach that eliminates
cross-claims between the designer and builder. Everett's success
with design/build stems from our ability to assemble the best, most
compatible teams of designers and consultants - and then managing
the process effectively. By integrating the design and construction
teams from the beginning of a project - and having them address all
issues together - we save time and money and greatly reduce the
likelihood of disputes and claims.
